Studying at SBUP felt like boarding a train toward my career destination. Each subject was a station that added skills, clarity, and confidence along the way, while SBUP’s practical and student-centric teaching ensured the journey remained meaningful and engaging. The academic support and exposure shaped not just my learning, but my readiness for the corporate world. Representing SBUP at an international exhibition at IMC Delhi was a major junction on this journey, expanding my perspective beyond the classroom. Today, as I step off this train into my role at Infosys, I carry more than memories—I carry a strong professional mindset, adaptability, and a corporate-ready personality. SBUP played a key role in shaping the professional I am today.

“Your Network is your Net Worth”—I learned this very well when I stepped onto the SBUP campus to pursue my MBA/PGDM. For some, it might just be a course or a degree, but for me it was a living dream. Coming from a background in hotel management, entering SBUP was a completely new experience for me. During my MBA at SBUP, I learned how to network, connect, and develop a knack for marketing by actively participating in various activities. Now, being placed at Colgate-Palmolive with a good salary, I believe that choosing SBUP was the best decision of my life.

The Chinese proverb, “Be not afraid of growing slowly; be afraid only of standing still,” proved true and became a turning point when I joined SBUP. The discussions, competitions, and activities—everything helped shape my skills. Two years of hard work in acquiring these skills bore fruit as I got placed at Grant Thornton. It was the most amazing experience I have had at SBUP.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to get placed at Wildcraft after a multi-layered procedure, including the GP/PI round. Attending all the sessions and classes helped me develop the necessary skills to deal with real-world challenges with grit and courage.

BITM has given space to identify and explore my comfort zone with the corporate world. The journey has been rewarding and with full of thrills.
